This is the second book at Verlhac Editions by photographer Yann Monel, which the famous garden photographer devotes the book to the Arboretum de la Sedelle, nestled in a valley in the Creuse.

YANN MONEL studied gardening at the Ecole du Breuil. Soon after his studies he became a freelance photographer and has worked on the representation of major gardens such as Kerdalo in Brittany and the garden of Stéphane Marie, host for SILENCE CA POUSSE a well known French television gardening programme. GARDENS ILLUSTRATED regularly ask him for articles on gardens of the world.

MARIE-LAURE VERROUST is a journalist who specialises in architecture and gardens. An art historian and author of numerous books as well as collaborator on gardening sections of various design, garden and architectural magazines.

JEAN-MARC FERRER historian in decorative arts of the 19th and 20th centuries, manages and designs exhibitions showcasing the personalities and art movements (national and international) which contributed to the modernisation of his region, the Limousin. He is also the director of Ardent editors.

MARIE-HÉLÈNE RESTOIN -EVERT is an historian and programme supervisor for the radio station RCF Limousin where she regularly produces programmes about the environment and culture.

AMELIE CHASSARY photographer, artist and author, lives and works in Paris. She holds of a master’s degree in graphic art from the ESAG Penninghen.
